Filtrete High Performance One-Inch Filters outperform all non-electrostatic filters including three-month pleated, washable fiberglass 1-inch filters. These filters protect the furnace motor and are an alternative to costly, permanent electronic air cleaners and are much more efficient than the inexpensive fiberglass filters. Filtrete filters capture small and large particles including smoke, smog and particles that carry viruses and bacteria. They also meet the American Lung Association indoor air quality guidelines.

Filtrete filters are available online and at Lowes and Home Depot, K-Mart, Target, ACE Hardware, True Value, Kroger, Wal-Mart, Dixieline Lumber, Home Centers, etc.

Note: Filtrete is constantly upgrading filters and making changes. They are available from many stores and different locations may have various selections of the Filtrete filters. If you are interested in the highest filtration possible, you may have to have the Filtrete Elite Filter (see below) custom made since it comes in limited sizes.
