Medical testing that involves exposure to radiation (both ionizing and non ionizing) presents the body with a stress that can be prepared for. Susceptibility to infection and a weakened immune response is intensified by this concentrated exposure to various electromagnetic fields. Taking a precautionary approach to strengthen and help the body withstand these medical tests is a smart thing to do. The following are steps to support the body with adequate rest and good nutrition.
Rest
One simple measure is to get good rest and sleep before any medical testing. Being exhausted and stressed adds to the body’s burden.
Overall Diet
Weeks before testing upgrade your diet if needed. Eat organic, whole foods. Avoid sugar as it weakens the immune system and makes the entire body more vulnerable to chemicals, radiation, bacteria, viruses, and other stressors. Also avoid processed food, additives, preservatives, hydrogenated oils, etc. A well-nourished body is less vulnerable to all stressors.
We should learn from history. *“It is something of a miracle to most people that after an atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan in August 1945, staff members at St. Francis’s Hospital located just one mile from the epicenter of the blast suffered no effects of radiation. Tatsuichiro Akizuki, M.D. who was director of the Department of Internal Medicine at St. Francis’s Hospital, thought his people would have a chance to survive the fallout and remain healthy if they avoided all sugar and followed a diet of miso soup, unrefined brown rice, and sea vegetables (seaweed). He gave the kitchen staff strict orders to prepare this food to everyone in the hospital, and he not only kept his staff healthy, but improved the condition of all the patients.”* Studies at Hiroshima University determined that sea vegetables and miso soup were protective against radiation. They consumed these and escaped any radiation poisoning while people all around were dying from being exposed. (*Taken from article by Thea Hall - Stella Nova Publications)
Miso
If possible and if it is beneficial or neutral for your bloodtype (see below), add medicinal grade miso soup to your diet. Medicinal quality miso is a traditional food and is a fermented soy product that is protective against radiation (is used to treat radiation sickness), helps improve resistance to EMF exposure, neutralizes some of the effects of pollution, and provides beneficial bacteria to the colon. Properly prepared, miso contains an amino acid pattern that is similar to meat along with a trace of vitamin B 12, is a live food containing lactobacillus that aids in digestion and assimilation, and creates an alkaline condition in the body that promotes resistance against disease. Even though miso is salty it can help lower blood pressure taken at 1 t. a day. Have miso soup with an all-vegetable meal with beans and grains. Do not eat miso with a meal that contains animal food. See Basic Miso Soup recipe. Good quality, medicinal misos can be ordered through the following:
Miso is a beneficial food for Blood Types A and Type AB Secretors, and is a neutral food for Type A, AB, and O Non- Secretors. Miso is an avoid for B Secretors and B Non-Secretors, as well as O Non-Secretors. See “Blood Type, Genotype, and Secretor Test” to determine your blood type, genotype, and secretor status.
Sea Vegetables
In addition, consume more sea vegetables. Sea vegetables increase the body’s capacity for detoxification and also help strengthen the body’s resistance to electromagnetic fields. Sea vegetables bind and neutralize harmful radioactive metals such as strontium – 90, cesium, and plutonium and help eliminate them from the body. In addition sea vegetables bind with heavy metals and help eliminate them from the body. Sea Vegetables contain the entire spectrum of trace minerals, which are critical for efficient detoxification.
If unable to cook sea vegetables or for ease when traveling, a good inexpensive substitute is XenoStat. This is a whole food. The sea vegetables are in a capsule with no fillers, or additives. Many people who are unable to take supplements are able to take these sea vegetation capsules, as they are real food and not synthetic. Work up to 6 per day as a serving of sea vegetation. Start with one at breakfast and then gradually build up to 6 per day taken in divided doses or with the largest meal of the day. Since these are a food they can even be taken alone. If having electromagnetic sensitivity, take up to 6 per meal for two meals a day. Take 6 per meal (three meals a day) two days before you have any medical diagnostic testing and for two to five days thereafter.
Green Tea
Drink Super Nano Green Tea with water. This is beyond organic predigested green tea that is not irradiated (70% of all green teas are irradiated). Polyphenols from green tea have been shown to protect DNA from damage inflicted from radiation and harmful chemicals. Green tea is extremely effective as its antioxidants are capable of inhibiting mutation and formation of cancerous cells as well as providing protection for the heart, kidneys, skin, connective tissue, and stomach. Super Nano Green Tea also contains L-theanine, which is calming, protects and restores the brain, stimulates the immune system, promotes sleep, and increases mental clarity. On the morning of the test mix ½ - 1 tsp. in 4 ounces of purified water - sip throughout morning before testing. After x-rays, or other diagnostic tests mix ½ - 1 tsp. in 4 - 8 ounces of water and sip throughout the rest of the day (if not convenient to do this just drink all at once). For a couple of days after testing, mix ½ - 1 tsp. in water and sip throughout the day. Try to finish the drink by 3:00 p.m.
Superfoods
Take superfood supplements to strengthen the body. These are concentrated, nutrition-packed, super foods that are virtually predigested and provide energy and antioxidant protection.
Bath
The Radiation Neutralizing Bath is designed to help clear the system of radiation - a particularly invasive environmental factor that can devastate the immune system. To help neutralize this exposure after every medical diagnostic test that involves ionizing or non-ionizing radiation take a radiation neutralizing bath as soon after the test as possible and then every day for a week if possible. In addition, this bath is helpful because unfortunately, today more than any time in history we are exposed to many sources and types of radiation on a daily basis – computers, microwaves, cell phones, televisions, cordless phones, Wi Fi, ipods, video games, air plane flights, etc. This radiation soak can be done two to three times per week to help remove the radiation we so frequently (and unknowingly) encounter, and to eliminate toxins from the body’s largest organ, the skin.
